A War Between the States living history and skirmish on November 21st at the 1812 Hitching Post in Turnersburg, NC (near Statesville).

The 1812 Hitching Post is a historic home and sits on over a hundred acres of pasture, fields, and woodland. It is a perfect location to hold a skirmish. We plan to camp (for those that can) on Friday night. There will be plenty of firewood to keep us warm.
The living history will be from 9am to 3pm, with a scripted battle for the crowd at 1pm. The folks that run the 1812 Hitching Post will provide a very nice lunch for the reenactors (free of charge).

We are also planning to have a tactical for the reenactors only around 8:30am. As I mentioned the property lends itself very well for this as well.
